the genes move in silence as they try to blame the atoms for their behavior e'en tho' the atoms are so far in the past you can't see them- but the genes writhe so fast looking for food that there isn't time to think of the past- but the bruises the jerky writhings leave in the silence might be mistaken for atoms by an outsider.
